Innsbruck

Innsbruck is the capital city of Tyrol in western Austria and is the fifth-largest city in Austria. It is in the Inn valley, at its junction with the Wipp valley, which provides access to the Brenner Pass some 30 km (18.6 mi) to the south.

Located in the broad valley between high mountains, the so-called North Chain in the Karwendel Alps (Hafelekarspitze, 2,334 metres or 7,657 feet) to the north, and the Patscherkofel (2,246 m or 7,369 ft) and Serles (2,718 m or 8,917 ft) to the south.

Innsbruck is an internationally renowned winter sports centre, and hosted the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics as well as the 1984 and 1988 Winter Paralympics. Innsbruck also hosted the first Winter Youth Olympics in 2012. The name translates as "Inn bridge".

Admission to Swarovski Crystal Worlds
Admission to Swarovski Crystal Worlds
Step into the enchanting world of one of Austria's most dazzling attractions with admission to Swarovski Crystal Worlds. The magical place showcases unique and brilliant art designed to inspire wonder. Marvel at crystal-covered sculptures, a sparkling dome, and a nature-covered giant during your stay. As soon as you arrive at Swarovski Crystal Worlds, you're greeted by the Giant, an enormous figure made of nature with large crystal eyes. Step through the mouth of the Giant to discover the dazzling Chambers of Wonder, 16 galleries of immersive, fantasy-inspired art. Make your way through exhibits like the Crystal Dome, an incredible geodesic dome of reflective panels, or Silent Light, a sparkling crystal tree designed by Tord Boontje and Alexander McQueen. After exploring the fantastic Chambers of Wonder, head out again and continue to the Garden. Modern art blends seamlessly into nature in the Garden, where you can find larger-than-life installations made with Swarovski crystals that glitter in the sun. At the newly installed Crystal Cloud and Mirror Pool, admire a jaw-dropping field of glimmering puffs suspended over a reflective bath. The masterpiece is hand-mounted with over 800,000 crystals, creating a dreamy, star-like effect. Before your day comes to an end, head to the playtower, where little ones can make their way through 4 floors of engaging obstacles and tactile terrain, or to the labyrinth, where you can navigate a hedge maze designed by André Heller. Admission and roundtrip transport to and from Innsbruck Central Station via shuttle included.
