Travessia Beach Lodge
Travessia is an Eco Beach Lodge that is all about understated barefoot-luxury. A mere one and a half hours drive from the airport of Inhambane, and just six kilometre of sand track away from the main road, the lodge is accessible enough for a long weekend break and yet remotely enough still to give you an instant cast-away feeling. Travessia Beach Lodge is a remote Eco lodge, situated on a secluded 800 m long beachfront, 95 km away from Inhambane. It features a beach bar with plunge pool and a restaurant.
The spacious rooms at Travessia are built of wood and canvas on elevated wooden decks with en suite bathroom and outdoor shower. The beds are draped with mosquito nets. Guests can enjoy magnificent sea views. Guests at Travessia enjoy water activities such as boogie boarding or canoeing and bushwalks to the neighboring communities. Staff can assist you plan and book day trips to Inhambane or Tofu for diving or snorkeling experiences.
Rooms
Family Room
Casa Tartaruga is our family room that can accommodate four people in either two king size or twin beds. The room is open plan with a canvas screen between the beds as a visual seperation, but otherwise open. It is therefore ideal for a family with children or a group of four really good friends who don’t mind sleeping dorm-style. It is equipped with mosquito nets, ensuite bathroom facilities with separate toilet and outdoor shower, large deck with hammock and 180 degree sea views. A fifth bed could be accommodated for a family of five.
Double Room
Casa de Mel is the most secluded of all our rooms, approximately 150m away from the restaurant and lounge. It is a double room with king size or twin beds, mosquito nets, ensuite bathroom with separate toilet and outdoor shower, large deck with hammock and sea views. The room can accommodate one extra bed for an accompanying child.
