Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite
Set in the Sierras, this upscale mountain resort consists of a lodge and adjacent cottages. Its 3 miles from the entrance to Yosemite National Park and 15.4 miles from Bass Lake. The warm rooms and cottages feature TVs, mini-fridges and coffeemakers, plus Wi-Fi access; some add whirlpool tubs. The cottage rooms and suites add flat-screen TVs and microwaves, plus fireplaces and private balconies or patios. Some suites also offer separate living rooms with pull-out sofas. A daily resort fee covers access to the fitness center, game room and 3 pools. There's also a full-service spa (fee), multiple dining options and outdoor activities.
Rooms
Premium Room
Tenaya's Premium Rooms inside the main lodge building measure 350 square feet and offer a preferred view of Tenaya's mountainous surrounding. The room offers two Queen-size beds or one King-size bed, newly upgraded bathrooms with granite countertops, rustic style sliding doors and an updated décor throughout the whole room.
Extended Room
Extended room is perfect for families, giving everyone a little more room to stretch out and relax. With all the features and amenities of our Deluxe and Premium rooms, the Extended Queen room offers an additional 100 square feet of living space and has two Queen-size beds, a sitting space with a sleeper sofa plus a balcony or patio for savoring Tenaya's fresh Sierra Mountain air.
Spa Room
Tenaya Lodge's Spa Room provides a comfortable living space and spacious bathroom making it perfect for romantic getaways or celebrating special occasions. This studio-style Suite offers one King-size bed with a sitting area, wet bar and a private balcony or patio. The bathroom offers a large vanity with an over-sized whirlpool tub and a separate rain shower.
Premium Explorer Cabin
Our Premium Cabins offer a true immersive Yosemite-Sierra experience. Enjoy the rushing Big Creek, mountain pond or alpine meadow from your master bedroom porch. Like the Deluxe Cabins, the Premium Cabins feature one king-size bed and one queen-size bed with a large shower. Premium Cabins have the same layout as Deluxe Cabins, but in our best locations.
Family Explorer Cabin
Our Family Cabins are unique to the resort property, offering a bunk bed in the second bedroom! With a full bed on bottom, and a twin on top – this room is perfect for guests of all ages. The floorplan is the same as the Premium Cabins, but with a shower tub in the bathroom instead of the shower-only arrangement in the Premium and Deluxe Cabins.
Deluxe Explorer Cabin
The comforts of home, nestled beneath Incense Cedar and Sugar Pine trees, our Deluxe Cabins are sure to offer a one-of-a-kind mountain escape. The Deluxe Cabins have the same layout and amenities as the Premium Cabins, but are toward the interior of the grounds.
Cottage Room
Tenaya Lodge's Cottage Rooms are part of a duplex or triplex cottage building nestled into the Sugar Pine and Incense Cedar forest offering a more secluded mountain getaway and just a short walk from the main lodge. The studio-style rooms offer a fireplace, one King-size bed or two Queen-size beds and a private outdoor seating area for full relaxation.
Cottage Suite
Tenaya Lodge's Cottage Suites are part of a triplex cottage building nestled into the Sugar Pine and Incense Cedar forest offering a more secluded mountain getaway and just a short walk from the main lodge. The Cottage Suites are located on the second floor with an open-air staircase, one Queen-size bed in a private bedroom and a separate living space with a sleeper sofa OR one Queen bed and one King-size bed. The living space also features a gas fireplace, mini refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Each suite also has a private balcony for full relaxation.
Luxury Suite
Tenaya Lodge's 800 square foot Luxury Suite is an upscale suite with mountain lodge décor. The Luxury Suite offers a private bedroom and separate living space with a balcony off of each of the rooms. The separate living space features a sitting area with sleeper sofa, coffee table, fireplace, wet bar with refrigerator, large dining room table with seating for 8 and TV. The bedroom features a King-size bed, armoire and TV. The large bathroom offers a double vanity, whirlpool tub separate from the shower and a separate dressing room with vanity.
Deluxe Suite
Tenaya Lodge's Deluxe Suite provides 650 square feet of comfort with a living room area and a separate bedroom with a grand list of features. The living room is perfect place to play cards, enjoy nightcaps and converse about the adventures of the day with a sitting-area size sleeper sofa, a TV, wet bar and a dining table for 4. The private bedroom has one King-size bed and a TV mounted on top of a large armoire.
Contemporary Suite
Tenaya Lodge's 800 square foot adults-only Contemporary Suite offer an updated and modern lodging option. The separate living room includes a sitting area with a sectional sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, dry bar, TV and work desk. The private bedroom features 1 King-size bed, TV and a private patio area. The suite also offers large bathroom area with a soaking tub separate from the shower. Adjacent to the bathroom is a walk in closet and dressing area.
Garden Suite
Hardwood floors with throw carpets in the sitting area, along with a cozy fireplace and dry bar make it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day in Yosemite National Park. The sitting space with a sectional sleeper sofa, TV and coffee table is separated by a half wall from the bedroom area with one King-size bed. In addition, there is a small patio and garden area off of the living room. The large bathroom features a soaking tub, separate rain shower and reflects the room's bright, modern decor.
