The name Motswari means to conserve and protect in Tswana and the owners have held the name to be a promise to each of their future friends who arrive to share in the splendor of an African sunset at this vintage bush lodge. An overnight walking safari has now been added to the Motswari experience for avid bush lovers. You can engage all five of your senses as you become one with nature on a footpath through untouched wilderness with one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides as they lead you through majestic scenery to come up close and personal with the Big (and small) 5. Along the way, your guides will share their knowledge whilst using their experience to give a wonderfully natural insight that will further your own appreciation of the African bush.

Giraffe's Nest

A short game-drive away from the Main Camp, a private under-the-stars experience for two awaits. At this special location, overlooking the Xanatsi Dam, guests have the oppurtunity to be treated to a luxury tree-house sleep out. Open-air viewings of the skies is possible, yet the room is completely secure and extremely private, and can be covered with a retractable canvas roof. Adding to the comfort of this location, an eco-bathroom is available upstairs so there is no need for guests to leave the platform above the landscape.

Each bungalow offers a great sense of privacy and proximity to the bushveld. Traditional African décor reflects South Africa's vibrant atmosphere and neutral tones maintain an atmosphere of classic elegance. Each bungalow sleep two guests. The luxurious knig bed is dressed with four hundred thread count Egyptian cotton bedding and the ensuite bathroom has bathrobes and slippers.
