Hotel Heinitzburg - World's Ultimate Travels

A country representing the true character of Africa enhanced by the widespread influence of various European and African settlers that have helped shape its recent history. Windhoek, the gateway and capital of the country, lies 1,689 meters above sea level, embedded by the “Khomas Highland”. Hotel Heinitzburg is situated on the “Luxury Hill”, five minutes drive from the city center, overlooking the capital and its remarkable highlands. Commissioned in 1914 by Count von Schwerin for his fiancée, Margarethe von Heinitz. In 1996 this German castle was turned into a private owned Hotel with 10 rooms. Additional six rooms, a Gourmet restaurant “Leo’s at the Castle”, a new Kitchen and a Wine Cellar as well as a new swimming pool next to the “Pool Side Deluxe Rooms” were finished in May 2000.

Deluxe Rooms

The Heinitzburg offers 16 spacious generously appointed en-suite rooms, each individually decorated, leaving no two rooms looking the same! Each room has individual air-conditioning / heating unit, direct telephone, electronic safe, mini bar and a flatscreen TV with satellite channels. Deluxe room bathrooms all have a walk in shower.

Superior Rooms

Superior Rooms offer the same amenities as a Deluxe Room apart from the bathroom. The Superior Deluxe rooms have a bath with integrated showers. Each room has individual air-conditioning / heating unit, direct telephone, electronic safe, mini bar and a flatscreen TV with satellite channels.
