Situated on a hilltop, Gocheganas Lodge & Spa is only 29 kilometers Southeast of Windhoek. The name Gocheganas means Place of Camel Thorns in the local Damara language. The lodge offers a combination of wildlife and nature. Gocheganas has an outdoor restaurant and open air bar along with a swimming pool and sun beds . The Spa offers a heated indoor pool, and various treatment baths and a granite cave sauna. Other facilities also include a gym, yoga sessions, facial and beauty treatments and a fruit and juice bar. Activities on this nature reserve include early morning and afternoon game drives, guided walks and visits to a stone age cave.

There are 16 thatched chalets, all boasting a private timber deck , equipped with air-conditioner, television and DVD/CD system, mini-bar and telephone. All 15 rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a separate toilet.
