Private Game Drives
Safari Lodges are located on Private Concessions within world renowned National Parks. As such, only game viewing vehicles belonging to the lodges may traverse these territories. This low vehicle density affords guests up close and undisturbed game viewing opportunities, while marveling at the skill of the guides and trackers as they interpret the signs of the bush. Dawn and dusk game drives forge the rhythm of your safari. Rove widely yet comfortably in open game viewing vehicles, encountering Africa’s creatures and pristine wilderness. Each vehicle comprises a driver/guide as well as an experienced tracker, who takes up a position at the front of the vehicle, searching for animal spoor on the gravel roads.
The Greater Kruger
Big 5 Game Viewing
This is the ultimate South Africa safari destination. You are sure to experience an immaculate wildlife experience as the reserve is home to a high density of wildlife which includes the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo). Experience magnificent wildlife sightings in the heart of the Kruger National Park – Africa’s most iconic game reserve.
Mfuwe Lodge
Award-winning safari lodge set in the most prolific game area of the South Luangwa
The lodge is situated in the South Luangwa National Park, which is towards the north-eastern border of Zambia. The lodge has been hand-picked for this itinerary as commercial flights cannot land near the area and road transfers are long and tedious, making travel in a private turbo-prop aircraft ideal as you can land right on the lodge’s airstrip. This region of the park is renowned for its prolific game - giraffe, hippos, buffalo, antelope, and crocodile are constant visitors to Mfuwe Lodge's lagoon. Each year at Mfuwe Lodge whole families of elephants have been regular guests, visiting between late October and mid-December to feast on the fallen fruits from the large Wild Mango (Cordyla africana) tree in the lodge grounds. So don’t be alarmed if a herd of elephants make their way through the reception area!
The Victoria Falls
Spectacular Waterfall
Victoria Falls is on the Zambezi River at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It has been described as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world. Here, the Zambezi River plummets over a cliff and into the Boiling Pot before flowing through a series of gorges. The Devil’s Pool, a natural infinity pool, is on the edge of a sheer drop. The surrounding Zambezi National Park is home to white rhinos and elephants.
Cape Town
Natural Beauty and Culinary Delights
Cape Town’s most inspiring feature is its stunning setting – lying on a dramatic coastline of pristine white beaches, overlooked by the iconic Table Mountain. While walking through the city’s streets and meeting its people, you will fall in love with its natural beauty, creative freedom and incredible spirit.
